Hailing originally from Richmond, Virginia, Anthony married his wife, Dee, in 1987.  They are proud godparents to Aleana and Frank.

After high school, Anthony attended DeVry Institute of Technology and began his working career in Atlanta, the city of opportunity. He credits his work ethics to his father who allowed him at an early age to roll his little red wagon to the nearby grocery store and deliver the groceries to elderly residents.

“Once upon a time you could participate in that type of activity without the threat of being hurt.”  With the proceeds, he opened his very first saving account. “If you could only have seen the smile on my face at that moment.”  When his father died, Anthony was fifteen and the eldest of nine. “It was time to grow up and I believe I made my mother proud to say – “That’s my son!”  “LOVE YOU MOM!”

Anthony is “in the home stretch” of his career as a Safety Advisor for Alstom. Alstom, a French multinational company, maintains the train system at the Atlanta Airport – better known as the “Plane Train”. He thrives on the “challenge of motivating the site and my co-workers to constantly realize that safety is a mind set and if we work together, it can be achieved.”

Anthony owned two Mercedes Benz’s.  He said that they were like brother/sister combination – a 1991 420 SEL and a 1991 560 SEL.  Can you guess which one is the big brother? He kept the 560 SEL and gave the 420 SEL to his brother. One day, Anthony will purchase a newer Benz since he enjoys “the space” and it will surely be a sedan.

When Anthony is not working or performing the “to do list”, he enjoys playing golf or cleaning his baby – (his 560 SEL, while listening to Jazz and R&B music). Cleaning his baby is work but says he is “at peace while performing this activity.”

“Being with family and friends will always get a laugh out of me. The road of Life is full of heartache, so I may as well enjoy the moments as much as I can.”

He does not have a favorite food or author. However, Anthony enjoys reading to expand his knowledge and perspective of the world.  As far as TV, action and suspense features will keep his attention for an hour or two.

Anthony wants to be remembered as a caring and responsible person that believes in staying true to his word. “When I am in your presence, hopefully I will leave you with that impression of who I am.”

Retirement is around the corner for Anthony. He would like to continue traveling and playing on various golf courses. “Watch out “Birdie” I am coming for you!”.
